Gene's is the Internet Addict of the cast of TTT. His favorite shirt says 'l337 p0vv3r o_O' yes, Gene is a fan of leet speak, though he really doesn't speak it much. Gene is a senior in high school. Gene's best friend is Sandi Brown. They've known each other since they both were about 5 years old. Gene can talk about anything to Sandi, and considers her to be his best friend. Gene walks to school with her every morning, except for those days when he is running late. 

Gene grew up in an orphanage with his older brother Finny. Plenty of parents wanted to adopt Gene, but Gene wouldn't leave without his older brother. Finally, when Gene was 15, they both were adopted. Gene was the star of the family, and his adoptive parents, the Klaskys, really paid more attention to Gene then to Finny. During one of Finny's spells, Gene accidentally walked in on Finny, and was hit by the spell. Thus is how Gene got the scar on his chest. The Klaskys disowned Finny, and put a restraining order on him, to keep him away from Gene. Gene really hates his brother for what he did, but he misses him at the same time.
